Even Though Flannery Did Not Win Office, Stephen Flannery III Continues To Take An Active Role In The Community Of Pacific, Missouri. His Goal Remains To Help Pacific, Missouri Grow In A Responsible Manner! Thank You Again For All Your Support.
Biography:
Stephen was born in Pacific in 1979 while his father was in recruiting duty with the Marine Corps. He moved several times to bases across the U.S. and Japan and settled back to Pacific in 1989. His mother was born and raised in Pacific, her parents were Clarence and Ruth Welmering.
While in school, Stephen was in the Pacific Boy Scouts troop 329. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and worked on summer camp staff for 10 years. Stephen said "Being in the boy scouts really developed a great sense of citizenship by helping my community with food drives and services projects."
Stephen attended St. Bridget's Catholic grade school from 3rd to 8th grade and St. Francis Borgia High School from 9th to 12th grade. After graduation he attended St. Louis Community College Meramec until joining the Marine Corps in the fall of 1999. After serving 6 years in the Marine Corps, he transfered to Missouri State University and graduated in 2007.
When Stephen enlisted in the Marine Corps in the fall of 1999, he was able to attended boot camp at Paris Island, South Carolina. Stephen attended MOS school at Camp Ljeune, North Carolina after which he reported to his next duty station in St. Louis, Missouri with the 3rd Battalion 24th Marines. While stationed with 3/24 he served as an administrative clerk and was attached to the Military Funeral detail. In 2004 Stephen was deployed to Al Taqaddum air base in the Al-Anbar providence of Iraq.
Stephen is currently working as a Real Estate agent with Osage Realty Inc. in Pacific, Missouri.

"Why I want to be your Alderman: I am running for Alderman because I believe that Pacific is ready for and needs to grow in a responsible manner. As Alderman I plan to support economic growth, economic development, the develpment of recreational opportunities, foster community involvement within the city and support property owners in the desire to improve their properties. I will work to update and improve infrastructure in Ward I and the City by addresing our 5 year out of date Master Plan. I feel that it is important to make myself available to all citizens and listen to their input on how to choose the best course of action for leading our city into the right direction for this new decade."
